Chat tool

Interactivity is king at MariaDB Server Fest Worldwide Online! In order to fulfil our promise, we need to choose the right tool.

MariaDB Foundation’s daily chat happens with the Open Source tool Zulip at https://mariadb.zulipchat.com. Zulip will be our main chat tool also during the conference.
For attendees in China, we are installing WeChat for hosts and encouraging all presenters to also install it.
If it turns out that many attendees are unwilling to try Zulip, we may consider Slack as a backup chat mode.
