Abstract

This talk is based on Releem’s experience working with small teams running MariaDB in production without a dedicated DBA. We’ll walk through how these teams handled database tasks before: manual checks, ad-hoc scripts, reactive tuning, and educated guesswork. We’ll then show how these same tasks are gradually automated using real workload data, while keeping changes explicit, reviewable, and safe.
