Automate MariaDB Galera clusters deployments Ansible

Abstract

High availability is important, but deploying and operating a cluster is error-prone. A mistake, in the worst case, could result in a broken cluster. If you care about your data enough to use a cluster, you definitely want to avoid situations of this type.
In this session we’ll see how to automate the deployment of a cluster, using an Ansible working example. Thanks to the “infrastructure as code” paradigm, we’ll see a testable, self-documenting repository of code describing our cluster and all the related tools. Using it to administer a cluster is as simple as it should be.
