I had completely missed that #mariadb 10.2 supports #json so well:
This seems like a much way better to store random data than serializing them.
The latest MariaDB releases, 10.2.11 and 10.1.29, see a long-awaited update to the built-in Mroonga storage engine, based on @groonga, the open-source fulltext search engine.
