We launched Red Hat UBI based Docker Official Images for MariaDB! These are available on Docker Hub with tags containing ubi including lts-ubi.
The MariaDB plc folks suggested this would be good for enterprise users. After dusting of an old prototype, jointly developing the image, a couple of requests for packages into the UBI repository, and running through our test suite for compatibility testing, there is now an image available for everyone that will be maintained.
Attention to the Red Hat Open Shift Certification Policy made some compliance changes to the UBI based MariaDB image.

The MariaDB Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of MariaDB 11.5.1, a Release Candidate (RC) in the rolling release, and MariaDB 11.4.2, the first Generally Available (GA) release in the MariaDB 11.4 series. MariaDB 11.4 is a long-term series, and will be maintained for five years.

The MariaDB Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of MariaDB 10.11.8, MariaDB 10.6.18, MariaDB 10.5.25 and MariaDB 10.4.34, the latest stable releases in their respective long-term series (maintained for five years from their first stable release dates), as well as MariaDB 11.2.4, MariaDB 11.1.5 and MariaDB 11.0.6, the latest stable releases in their respective short-term series (maintained for one year).
MariaDB 10.4.34 and MariaDB 11.0.6 are the final scheduled releases in their respective series.

MariaDB Server 11.4 will be a long-term support release, on top of our current plan.
Early February, we announced that we were adjusting the MariaDB Server release model. As part of that, we already announced our move towards a yearly LTS cycle. To get our current features earlier into broad use, we have decided to make an LTS now, to cater for the needs of MariaDB 11 users expecting a full five years of bug fixes in a release with a locked feature set.
The goal of this additional LTS is to encourage a broader adoption of MariaDB Server 11.4.

The MariaDB Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of MariaDB 11.4.1, the first Release Candidate in the MariaDB 11.4 series, and MariaDB 11.3.2, the first and final stable release in the MariaDB 11.3 series. Both are short-term series. From MariaDB 11.3, we will stop doing GA bug fix releases within each minor version. If you wish to use a long-term release, MariaDB 10.11 will be maintained until 2028.
